Themis
NR3 collaborated with a large university to develop an MIS system to support key business processes within the college. The requirement was to primarily focus on the development of a multi-tenanted SAAS product that could potentially be used by other organisation units or institutes and colleges over time.
The solution supports the whole community of the college from Learners to Administration staff and enables the college to manage the learner during their lifetime within the college.
Projects
The role of the solution is to be a single system of note for the college and contain details of all interactions with a student during their time with the college starting with their initial application, registration, fee payment, assessments, attendance, academic record and alumnus beyond their time in the College.
NR3 delivered this whole solution and are fully responsible for project management, architecture, infrastructure, design, development, delivery and support of this solution currently.
There are integration points with many other services and solutions used by the college and THEMIS supports:
- Online Payment Integration via Global Payments and Stripe
- Integration with 3rd Party Direct Debit Mandate providers
- Integration with Government Central Applications Office
- Returns to award bodies with Student Awards
- Enhanced visualisation via Microsoft PowerBI
- A Suite of APIs to support users
Why we selected ASP.Net Zero?
We chose to implement this solution using asp.net zero with Angular for the following reasons:
- It already provides a framework with a Solid Architecture
- A ready-made multi-tenant framework was available that allowed us to support different organisation structures and deliver the same features per tenant
- A RAD tool was available to enable faster entity and view development
- An Advanced Authentication and Authorisation solution was available
- A mobile application was available as this is key for the majority of users

THEMIS
SizeWise
Sizewise is an award-winning sizing technology that is transforming the online footwear shopping experience by using AI, ML and Computer Vision to measure a foot and provide an exact match of footwear for the consumer. Globally over 40% of online footwear is returned due to the footwear not fitting correctly.
NR3 have been working with Sizewise to develop their full suite of mobile applications, APIs and portal that are used to support the various user bases. Typical users of the service include Brand Manufacturers, End-User Shoppers and Researchers.
The solution allows users to scan a QR code which activates the web app where users can initiate a scan, manage their profiles, see all scans and any recommendations in terms of footwear.

ASP.Net Zero Modules Included:
- Multi-Tenancy to enable Sizewise to white-label and offer services to a variety or organisations such as footwear manufacturers, footwear shops, academics and other service providers
- Multi-Language features to support the global user base
- Interactive Dashboards that show each tenant statistics specific to their account
e.g. total number of scans, number of requests for measurement
- Client account management and billing
- Features e.g. show shops purchase features such as “In Store Scanning” whereas academics do not require this feature
- Self Registration Provides Sizewise the ability to enable users to register for the services
- Email integration enables Sizewise communicate to users and manage processes such as password recovery
SIZEWISE
Paytient Payments
PAYTIENT PAYMENTS
Paytient Payments is an Irish Fintech founded in 2017 by Ruairi Gough, a first-generation entrepreneur and businessman, with the goal of helping healthcare organisations to embrace digital payments. Paytient Payments is now live in almost a hundred clinics across Europe and is processing millions of euros each year.
Each dental clinic can register for the services of paytient payments to offer direct debit payments as a payment option to their customers. The paytient can then sign up to a direct debit and then these payments happen regularly from their bank.
We implemented ASP.Net Zero to enable each tenant to view their customers and their payments along with the agreed payment schedule.

EduPortal
Eduportal is designed to be a Portal that enables (our client) to connect multiple services within a college together on behalf of an education board or College. The long-term vision is that the overall solution required by any educational institution is a combination of many different core systems e.g. Learning Management Systems, Timetable, Curriculum Planning, Admissions, Payments etc...
The Eduportal Solution was designed and developed by NR3.
Projects
As the existing PHP solutions are old and MIT wanted to migrate and re-develop new features in their new platform while still making legacy features available. Over time each of the features will be replicated in this new platform. Phase 1 integrated with the existing solutions and uses the organisation features of ASP.Net Zero to provided cross organisational reporting to centralised functions such as Finance while also extending the existing product suite for each individual tenant.
The modules delivered as part of this project include:
- Dashboards integrated with PowerBI
- Organisation units to enable local colleges see their data but the training board to see rolled up views of the same data across all organisation units
- Security Model & OpenIdConnect Authentication
- Multi-Tenancy
- Multi-lingual features
